An advantage of a trike that some may not think about.

IMO one safety point that many cyclist may not think about is another safety feature of a trike.  When riding out on the highways, if there is a large cross wind blowing you to the traffic lane, a trike will not be affected much at all.  On a bike, a gust of wind might cause the bike to swerve into the driving lane.  This pretty much wont happen on a trike.

Another advantage of a trike is riding them on MUPS in town.  It is much easier to ride a trike in town where there are many stops.  You just roll to a stop, stay clipped in and then just ride off.  No flipping scratching and clicking to put up with.
