I'm working on the loosing weight part. 30 pounds last year, shooting for another 30 this year.

Honestly, there are two women in our club that own recumbents, but they have yet to ride them on club rides. Maybe they are afraid they'll sprout beards, get fat and turn ugly? Suspect

Ya know Guys, There are a lot of women that ride bents. I'll bet that 1/3rd of the Florida groups CFRR,NFRR and SFRR are women and real good riders, some of which I wouldn't like to compete against cause they would kick my butt Embarassed So y'all better watch out one of these gals could come back and bite you in the you know what. Smile

I'm sure you're right. I tend to believe Florida just might be the king (queeen?) of female recumbency. I don't see many and even on the other forums, there aren't many. There are some, yes and I'm sure many are strong.

I'd love to have a female recumbent rider kick my butt!
