Smaller than AA's...ducking emoticon!!!
I also agree with the GPS. One unit, all of the bikes, plus I hear it'll even help you find beer!

My GPS can find beer? Why didn't you tell me that before? |

| I'm a little late to the party, but I'm going to add a "me too" for helmet mounted lights. I ride a lot in the early morning and with a solid mounted light, you feel like you're riding through a tunnel, at times. I'd be riding along and hear or sense something around me and not be able to see it. With a helmet mount, if you look at it, you light it up. For the most part, it's all been good except for the homeless guy that was peeing on a tree. The other thing good about a helmet light is cars pulling up to an intersection. With a solid mounted light, they might not see it at a glance, but if you make the effort to LOOK at the driver, the light is in his/her face and they have SEEN you, for sure. If you're going to be doing much night or early morning riding, it pays to get quality lights. There are plenty of lights that help you to be seen and help you to see a little. You can outrun a cheap light pretty easy, meaning you can go faster than what the light can illuminate. Get a better light and you can see farther down the road and avoid a lot of problems. That's my two cents worth on lights. Computers are a dime a dozen. Wireless are nice as long as you have the range, but they go through more batteries. It's pretty hard to go wrong with Cateye products. They last a long time and you can get replacement parts pretty easily. Mark _________________ Bicycling is my drug of choice. Thanks for the input, Mark. I think I'll go with a wired trip computer, and see if I can hook it up to the rear wheel.
And.... How about duct-taping a 4-D-cell MagLite to the helmet? |

You can use big rubber bands, but I do believe it will be rather "heavy" and the next thing you will want is a vacation for your strained neck muscles...... _________________ Bill from Sebastian Giant OCR2 Mongoose Switchback Cruzbike Conversion " Pain is only temporary, quitting is forever."
