Night Turkey, Nordmann56 and Garrybuck, this is answer to your unkindly remarks I believe on page two of this post and funny you aren't.

This is my first time on this forum and it leaves me to believe it was a mistake and I won't be back, too many jerks trying to be funny and you three aren't, you just think you're funny. I'm the first one to laugh when I see something funny, you guys aren't and should be ashamed of acting like little boys and making fun of someone who's smarter than you three.

That's my Yorkie. She always wears sunglasses and clear glasses for night riding, we ride over 150 a week and she wears them to protect her eyes. Duh! She's also tethered into the basket for her safety also, got any remarks to make about that? I figured out how to attach her basket to my trike without any help, not many men are as smart as I am and it seems you three aren't either. It was a no brainer and no surprise you guys couldn't think of how to do it. Who's stupid now?

You think your nasty remarks were funny, I found them stupid, rude and uncalled for. In the future, be careful of what you say, stupidity may come back and slap you in the face.

By the way, visors aren't hats either, ever see one?

Unlike some of you, I still have hair, lots of it!

Of course, there's no purpose to be served in even trying to apologize for the (apparent) offense caused by the attempts at humor, since the person offended clearly stated they "won't be back" (so they're obviously not even reading this)...

Bad, Turkey! Bad, bad, BAD, Turkey!

rolling on the floor

(Now, only folks who have been around here a little bit, and remember MY faux pas regarding "harelips," will get THAT joke!

Humor is SUCH a subjective thing, ain't it?)

Dang! I love it when somebody will call me "puerile" and/or a "jackanape"! (Hey! Ain't that redundant?) thumbs up

As a matter of fact, any time somebody calls me a "dirty old man" I am quick to point out that I resent being called "old"! What a Face

Had my fun, now I'm done - off to find fresh targets upon which to focus my lampooneries. You know, like, oh, I dunno, maybe old fat guys on weird bicycles... recum

I took and pressed the”view posts since last visit” haven’t used it before on this forum.
I see someone posting on the forum for the first and perhaps last time?
I also have a Yorkshire terrier she is a very happy dog. She doesn’t get offended easily and wags her tail at just about everyone. There is a picture of here in the gallery sitting on my wife's trike.
Have I missed out on other posts lately?

Michel,

I know and saw the thread you’re talking about and I think it was all in good fun, I don’t believe these guys were trying to be rude or be jerks as you say. They didn’t even know who the photo was of when they posted it. If you are looking for a serious group of people or forum try going to Brol because the Recumbent Riders Social Club, Social being the key word was not designed to be a serious forum, it was set up for people to be and enjoy themselves and not be so serious, and if you pardon the pun we are a real laid back group.
You talk about being a serious rider and that’s fine, I have found since the start of the forum that most people there are serious about there riding to a point but when you are as serious as you sound you can take all the fun and enjoyment out of riding because it becomes too much like work. Remember cycling especially recumbent cycling is supposed to be fun.

I hope you will give the our forum a half a chance, I think you will find the people there can be most enjoyable and informative at times
