My younger sister rode my Sun trike last weekend. She came back from her short ride, with a smile on her face, and said "I got to get one of these." Today we went down to the LBS and ordered it for her.

She just wants to ride around the neighborhood when she gets home and maybe to and from her work (~5 miles one way) when she gets used to it. We may go out together for short rides on the weekend. This is a great step for her. She was my bike riding buddy when we were kids. We both love bike riding but the DF was too uncomfortable to both of us.

And here I am, Creakinator's sister has found her way to this site.

I picked up the trike last weekend and took it for a spin Sunday. Oh wow! Nice gear shifting and nice uphill riding. Our town has a slight uphill grade, just enough so you feel it going north. I took an easy ride of about two miles through the neighborhoods.

I have been working out in the gym on the recumbent bikes for the past six months trying to get into some sort of shape. I am hoping the trike will help me with fitness goals and keep me moving.

Plus trail rides with Creakinator should prove to be fun. She can probably outride me right now.

As I'm sure you are aware, you have a really nice bike trail real close to you through San Bernardino, Riverside and into Norco. They're getting ready to do some work on parts of it, but there are still miles and miles of smiles and smooth asphalt.

I'll probably see you girls out and about one of these days. We ride a lot of the same streets.
