I figure that to be about 1100 miles of driving. Shocked I dunno.... Sounds fun, I guess, but I was thinking about maybe doing The Great Western this year. It's been on my to do list and a heckuva lot less driving....

I'm doing the Great Western , too
I'm probably going to fly in and ship the bike in a big brown truck Wink

That's smart... That 2200 miles of driving would not be fun. I think I'm going to pass, though it would be fun!

I think there will be a few from RWBTC at the Great Western this year.

That depends Bill, if you're riding your bike I'd allow 45 - 60 days each way. I don't think you would make it back in time for school.

Pffft.... Unless Bill is a world class athlete, I'd make it more like 60-90. That's SE to NW and likely to be some cold weather, not to mention some major climbing.... maybe if you start now..
