swb's and ice Empty swb's and ice

I found out today that short wheelbase rans rockets and icy patches in the shady spots in the curve on my local mup do not go well together.
It wasn't serious just a very small bit of road rash on my elbow. It just appeared when I went around the curve and there wasn't any way around it. The swb and smooth tires provide absolutely no traction in conditions like that.
To top it off the wind kicked up as I was taking the bike off the rack so all in all it was not a good day. Made for a short ride.

Yeah, some days are like that, Rocket man. Glad you weren't seriously injured.

Even a crappy day on the bike is better than a day at work. Or something like that. Very Happy
