todays frustration

Post by rocket man on Sat Jan 08, 2011 10:51 am

This cold and snow is frustating and I don't have an outlet so you get it. The exercise bike is just so boring. Even my ipod seems to offer little help today.

I feel for, I really do. I finally moved south about 12 years ago and I'm lovin' it!

Over the holidays, my two little granddaughters, my son, my daughter-in-law, my wife and I kept exchanging some kind of malady.

Some of the family had vomiting.

Some had diarrhea.

I had the most severe case of vertigo I have ever experienced. So severe, in fact, that the only time I threw up was when I got up on the morning of December 26th and was so dizzy I almost fell down.

Needless to say, the first time I was able to get back on the bike was just last Saturday, January 8th.

How good it felt!

In Phoenix, I have never had to stop riding because of the weather, but whatever that crud was it made me appreciate the frustration of all of you riders in colder climates.

Some people love a white winter you can go skiing or ice skating and enjoy other outdoor winter activity.
You can also ride a bike in the winter.

Her is a man from Norway ice skating and swimming doesn’t look like he is having fun? Very Happy

Since last Monday (sick puppy) the miles have been zero and to beat all, today we teachers had off because of parent conferences last evening and I am still feeling too poorly to even ride my trainer. Feel like I will have to start all over with training again............... But tomorrow will hopefully be another day with a little bit more sunshine. Very Happy
