I can't link to your blog here at work but, it is really prevelant down here. We've had so many cases come through the ER it's unbeleivable. I sure hope she feels better soon.

"After a whole battery of tests, including blood tests, urine samples via a catheter, and a spinal tap, the results came back this morning (10/18/09). Keira has the swine flu, the rash she has on her bottom is a yeast infection which could be what compromised her immune system and left her more susceptible to serious disease. The good news is that the doctors at Phoenix Children's are confident they have caught the illness soon enough to avoid any complications like pneumonia and Keira should recover fully and very quickly."

I will mention her name and relationship with the flu this evening at church.

My thoughts & prayers for her speedy recovery.

I was busy this weekend didn’t have time for riding or internet.
I did read your blog and it seems she is in good hands and will recover soon which is good news.

Good news.

Although little Keira got a urinary tract infection as an additional complication, the folks at Phoenix Children's have knocked it down with an antibiotic and her fever has gone away. She's eating well and all her signs seem back to normal.

Last night, the nurses there expressed confidence she might even go home today. One of my wife's gym buddies works in the ICU over at Phoenix Children's. She said Keira was never in bad enough shape that they even considered moving her to the ICU.
