Background Colors

On the new background colors if you have read a post the font turns white. This is hard to read on a light grey background. Is this something I can change on my machine or is it a function of the program? Is anyone else having a problem with this?

If this is the place your talking about I just made them blue same as the background. If someone prefers another color let me know it's not a problem to change.
