You know IDA bet we were gonna make it through this year without a Hurricane. Who'da thought? If it follows the current track and the eye hits Orange Beach, ALA it will be the same place that Ivan came on shore. If it shifts a bit East into Navarre tyhen it will follow the same path as Dennis both of which trashed us pretty good. I got it for $800 (regular retail is $1095 plus tax). I'll take some pictures in the daylight and post them. This bike is definitely brand spankin' new. I got it from a young lady that just graduated from Annapolis this year and is in flight training down here at Whiting field.
59 year old Ademir Jorge Goncalves came to his own funeral in Parana in Brazil walking still alive.

He told everyone they aren’t going to get rid of him so easily.

Here is the story in Norwegian http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utrolige-historier/artikkel.php?artid=582767

I found the story in Portuguese http://oglobo.globo.com/cidades/mat/2009/11/03/parana-morto-que-apareceu-vivo-em-velorio-passou-noite-bebendo-com-amigos-914581128.asp

I also found the story in English. http://guanabee.com/2009/11/ademir-jorge-goncalves-brazilian-own-funeral/

Some of you have a dog and when you ride a recumbent you might meet a dog or several on your ride.

Here is a dog that won the title of the world’s ugliest dog.

Pabst named after a “bitter beer face”.

Pabst doesn't know any tricks beyond sitting. He snores and farts.

And he can be found on the couch in the morning, although he always starts the night on his bed.

He’s a friendly dog that “smiles” and has earned $1600 and possibly more as a model?

A great dog not many ...

For me, the mornings have been cool. When I say mornings, I mean early morning commute mornings. It's 55 degrees, or so; too cool yet to break out the sleeveless jerseys and Shimano sandals. My first teacher was almost 90 years old she attacked me when I sat at my desk picked me up by the hair with the desk. She thought I had done something but it wasn’t me. If I had done something wrong the punishment wouldn’t have been that bad. I was a quiet and well behaved boy in first grade.

She died a few weeks ...

My mother suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, gall bladder and thyroid problems. Granted, most of these could have been controlled by diet and exercise.

Verne Gagne

I don't know if there are any fans of old time wrestling starts (pre WWE), but Verne Gagne is in a bit of trouble. It seems he and a fellow inmate of a nursing home were having issues and it turned ugly. Gagne supposedly pushed or threw the other guy (maybe a pile driver?) and broke his hip. They guy died a few days later from his injuries and now Gagne is in trouble.

Good thing there were no folding chairs close by.

Here's the story.
