I finally found a sidewinder and brought it home. It is a pro cruiser model. I have been looking for one for a long time. It's former owner was a person with a disability which prevented her from riding it at all. She had an assist motor on it which I removed for her to sell somewhere else. It had never been ridden except for the demo ride showing her how it worked. The tires still had the thin rubber flashing right in the middle of the tread. Zero ride miles.

Now I just have to find out ...

I see where Catrike has introduced a new model for kids -- the Dash. Great looking little trike but just too pricey for me to buy as a replacement for my son's KMX. It is lighter weight than the KMX and has nicer features including a much nicer rear cassette. Looks like my son is going to have to start mowing more lawns.

She just wants to ride around the neighborhood when she gets home and maybe to and from her work (~5 miles one way) when she gets used to it. We may go out together for short rides on the weekend. This is a great step for her. She was my bike riding buddy when we were kids. ...

Just seeing if a little discussion could be stirred up regarding the relative merits of Delta vs. Tadpole trikes. I've read some articles and reviews, but I wonder if there's anyone who's ridden both and could share some first-hand info. There's a shop not too far from me where I could get a good deal on a Sun EZ-3, and from all I've read it seems that a Delta might suit my needs more than a tadpole would. Any insights?

It is the most comfortable bike I have ever been on. The LBS set it up for me and adjusted the seat and handle bars. I attached the hydration backpack on the back of the seat. I felt so safe and secure on the bike. I have never felt so comfortable, stable and secure ...

So instead I put set of Schwalbe Kojacks 16 x 1 1/4 349 on the Catrike Speed. They look pretty good and they are slicks and hold slightly less air pressure than the Stelvios at 115lbs.

They come highly recommended by the Local Recumbent Shop, they say they will wear better than the Stelvio. I guess I'll find out. Anyone else had any experience with the Kojaks
