59 year old Ademir Jorge Goncalves came to his own funeral in Parana in Brazil walking still alive.

He told everyone they aren’t going to get rid of him so easily.

Here is the story in Norwegian http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utrolige-historier/artikkel.php?artid=582767

I found the story in Portuguese http://oglobo.globo.com/cidades/mat/2009/11/03/parana-morto-que-apareceu-vivo-em-velorio-passou-noite-bebendo-com-amigos-914581128.asp

I also found the story in English. http://guanabee.com/2009/11/ademir-jorge-goncalves-brazilian-own-funeral/

SOLD, pending payment

The TerraTrike Zoomer left for it’s new home yesterday without the fairing so I have the following for sale:

Windwrap GX fairing with the folding mount. It’s the MH FT mount that mounts the forward support on the bottom bracket. It is NOT the single point mount. The hardware is in excellent shape. The Lexan has some minor issues. The fairing was attached to a trike that was used on the Nickelodeon show “My Faimly’s Got Guts”. I have never seen the ...

Although I've got plenty of tread left on the Kenda Kwest OEM tires on my EZ Sport, when it comes time to replace them I'm looking at getting something with a little more bite for the 20" front/26" rear wheels.

The Kwests are great for road riding, but when it comes to climbing up a roll curb, or coming up over the slightest lip of a driveway opening, the 100 psi Kwests seem to have a tendency to slide along and not grip and get the wheels up and over.

Is it just me, or does ...

What do you think these should be great for commuters the drivers might notice you?

Maybe not so good for a racer there might be some drag?

It was such a nice day today that I had to go back down and ride along the National Seashore. It's such a great place to ride. I never get tired of the views down here. The best part is that there is hardly any traffic on weekdays. Even during Spring Break!

Surf fishing, they catch a lot of Pompano down here. The boat is cruising the shoreline looking for Cobia, they're due any day now.

Nobody in front of me.

No one behind me.

Just above me!

It was a day worth saving.

The whole bloomin' town looks like a picture postcard! Of course I know that a town will put its best face on its tourist website, but the place has my vote for an RRSC meet-n-greet, just in case we all win the lottery and can afford to get over there ...in "sommer", not "vinter"...

Women often receive warnings about protecting themselves at the mall and in dark parking lots, etc. This is the first warning I have seen for men. I wanted to pass it on in case you haven't heard about it. This will only become more commonplace down here in Florida this winter.

A 'heads up' for those men who may be regular Lowe's, Home Depot, or Costco customers. This one caught me by surprise.

NEW INVENTION FROM APPLE -

Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music. The iTit will cost from $499 to $699, depending on cup and speaker size.

This is considered a major social breakthrough, because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

Quickie in the Bushes

There are two statues in a park; one of a nude man and one of a

nude woman.. They had been facing each other across a pathway for a

hundred years, when one day an angel comes down from the sky and, with a

single gesture, brings the two to life.

The angel tells them, 'As a reward for being so patient through a

hundred blazing summers and dismal winters, you have been given life for

thirty minutes to do what you've wished to do the most.'

I am planning to do a Lap Around Lake Murray (South Carolina) in October. The route is somewhere between 85 and 90 miles, so I can't exactly call it a Century, but it will be by far the longest one-day ride this fat old fart has ever attempted. I plan on leaving the little town of Prosperity around 6:00 in the morning on Saturday 10/17 (or 10/24 if it rains on the 17th) and poking my way around the lake, taking many rests (and pictures) along the journey. Between now and then, I welcome any ...

I just got a TerraCycle Idler for my Stratus. I don't really know why, there was/is nothing wrong with the stock one from Rans but I've heard some good things about the ones from TerraCycle, it was at a decent price, plus, they look good. I'm also planning on some touring with this bike and I thought this would lessen any chance of idler falure. I was wondering if anyone else has added one to their rides? What if anything did you notice different?

Thanks for the input.

First the larger wheel would give a better ride, and maybe a little faster. Second, it would get the derailer higher and safer, and more out of the dirt and grit.
