There are some good hills around Flemington, NW of Ocala. These roads aren't heavily travelled and the hills are more rolling than around Clermont. There are plenty of county roads crossing each other, such that you can pick your distance easily. I highly recommend this area. The Gainesville club has some rides around there.

I've got several Mt. Dora maps from the FFW website and have ridden out there a couple times. I've driven through Brooksville but never ridden out there. I'll have to check it out. I did the Assault on Sugarloaf, but did it backwards so I went up the backside and down the ridiculously steep descent. I know, that's cheating! And I don't really care if I ever see Grassy Lakes Road again! Thanks for the tips. I'm headin' for the hills.

Thanks, I.M. I'll check out the Gainesville club website and see if I can find any maps. If you have any good links, let me know. I've never ridden out there, but that's a great weekend trip for me. Gives me some motivation!
