This thing seems too good to be true. The attached flyer is only slightly informative, but if you email them at ilikebike@bicyclefilmfestival.com, they get back to you explaining everything in greater detail. The basic thing is that they're rounding up 42 people to bike across the country in 55 days. Two groups of 21, as opposed to one huge 42-person group. It's fully supported, and they're taking care of the camping/accommodations/food all along the way. And they're paying people $3,000 a pop to do it. They're PAYING PEOPLE. I'd freaking do it for free.

That's going to be an expensive venture. $3000 each, plus $25/day for 55 days. That's another $1375. Then, there's the $800 air travel, that adds up to $5175 per person. That would be $217,350 plus the cost of their support vehicles and such. WOW!

I bet that $25/day is supposed to cover food and camping...... That would be cutting it pretty skinny, but who cares?
