I have experienced 100°F but it was with a high humidity and a long time ago.
Since your heat is dry it can’t be too bad? Smile
Some people start to complain about the heat here when it gets over 23°C which is 73°F! Smile

I also see more young people out riding this time of year some of the females are using bikini tops so they can get a tan when riding. recum

(Snicker) I always laugh about the "dry heat" stuff.

My standard answer is "So is a blast furnace! That don't make any more comfortable!"

I have noticed some of the female bike riders around here wearing appreciably less covering. This is my first summer riding the 'bent, and I do notice it presents an interesting angle as you come up behind a gal bent over, down in the drops of her road bike. What a Face

Today on my way home from work I rode my Sofrider to by a new par of walking sandals.
Shopping isn’t my favourite pastime but the shoes were 50% off and this store had an outdoor section so I could take the bike with me. Then when I had bought the shoes a man came over and said that’s the bike he had seen before and wanted! Cool
He had lost my number and also where to find the Sofrider on the internet.
So this made my shopping more exciting then usual. Very Happy
He had seen other recumbents but didn’t like the long chain.
He also liked that it has suspension.
He also asked how long it took me to learn to ride it.
I said I was able to ride it the first time but slowly. I didn’t dare go fast before my third trip of 30 km.

The good weather continues here the forecast at least until Tuesday is 32°C in Oslo a few degrees cooler here.

There has been a cycle to work period here in Norway just recently finished.
They asked for some pictures and I sent in a couple and they were published.

PostSubject: Rain season   Fri Sep 04, 2009 7:52 am

Kristiansand the biggest city in our area (50 km from Grimstad) had a lot of rain in short period.
http://www.fvn.no/lokalt/kristiansand/article697752.ece
We also got rain but not that much I did have to use rain cloths on my ride home yesterday.
This morning when I left for work it wasn’t raining but after 2 minutes it started so I stopped and put on my rain cloths.
I always have them with me on my Sofrider and this time of year they are often used. Smile

Phoenix is supposed to get wet from the remnants of Hurricane Jimena. Hmph! I'll believe it when I see it. I am getting REALLY antsy for it to cool down so I can get back to riding my bike to work.

This morning was the coldest this season +2°C so I had to use long underwear for the first time this season on my morning commute. The day temperature is also going down today it’s expected to be 14°C clear blue sky.

Do any of you have to use long underwear now in the morning? Very Happy
