Well, I rode my EZ SunRay to work on "Ride Your Bike To Work Day" (no different for me than any other day), and I only got one comment: as I was getting ready to go home one of my co-workers looked at my bike and said, "You need to figure out a way to put a motor on that thing". scratch Could some people BE any cluelesser?

I had a kid asm me the other day if my bike had a hemi in it. I told him it only ha a him me in it.

I rode Tues, Wed, Thurs, like usual. I don't usually ride Mondays or Fridays, because those are the days I deliver clothes and food, or take the dirty laundry home. I'm thinking about driving in on Mondays with my bike, then riding home and leaving the car at my workplace. Then, on Fridays, load everything up and drive home. That would net me four days of riding per week, or 160 miles.

I have altered my route, normally about 6.5 miles, to add a bunch of sight seeing along the way. It is now up to almost 12+. I don't think I will be able to get up into the 20 miles one way. But I will be working on it. You, young man, are my inspiration..... thumbs up

I'm up to Tuesday and Thursday commuting.

Have a regular lunch with some friends on Fridays.

My company subsidizes a membership to a gym right in our building, and provides an empty conference room right in the offices where we can park our bikes out of the weather and away from thieves (door automatically locks to the outside).

Last month, I won the quarterly $25 American Express gift certificate drawing for Alternative Mode of Transportation to work.

I'm still working on them to participate in the Bicycle Commuter Act program. Gas prices are headed up again, I'm hoping that works in my favor.

I can't complain. I have secure indoor bike parking and a shower at my disposal. In this day and age, it would be hard to ask for much more.
