I think I am going to have to find a set of fenders for my rans rocket. The water spray mark up the back of my seat is ugly not to mention the dirt slung up on the frame etc.
Question is from looking online I find them from a low of about 15 to a hi of 55 for a set. Why the big difference? Can there be that much difference in quality?
There were so many different brands even that was difficult to chose one.
Anyone have any experience with fender choices?

Dirt and mud on your bike is a badge of honor. Of course, you don't want it there for the start of your next ride.... But still!

Some fenders are plastic, some are Carbon Fiber. You want stainless mounting hardware, which costs more. The most important thing is you want fenders that fit your bike without a lot of monkeying around. Unless you're into that sort of thing!

I bought my Rocket with Rans fenders installed. They are probably plastic but looked like carbon fiber. I broke the front one when my foot caught it during a turn. I replaced it with a short metal one which was very cheap. I added a rubber deflector on the front because I was getting wet when going through water puddles. I have had no problems with this except that I occasionally have to straighten out the deflector. There are pictures of my Rocket in the gallery.
