I gave that up when I moved to California 23 years ago. Guess where the meth capital of the US is now? Iowa and Nebraska. They use anhydrous ammonia, which can be easily stolen in the corn belt. Richard, I agree that the midwest is generally saner than some of the more populous areas, but it's not totally immune to wierdos and drug problems. They're just fewer and farther between because of lower population. I read the Omaha World Herald and read about a lot scarier stuff happening in Omaha than in the area of SoCal I live in. And let's not forget about the bong cat dude in Lincoln. That made national news.
hmmm, I can't seem to remember...anyhow, we couldn't find a dam* Convenience store anywhere, and we were pretty dang munchy too, if you know what I mean....!!!
